Laura
M. Turner is a 15-year veteran health journalist, fitness expert,
and natural health practitioner who is dedicated
to inspiring and educating others about the benefits of natural health
and wellness. Laura is a noted journalist, publishing her work in
many publications national, regional and online including American Fitness, Natural
Bodybuilding and Fitness and Adirondack Life.
Laura has also contributed to many books including: Share Your Mission
and 101 Ways to Improve Your Health where she collaborated with such
natural health specialists as:
Dr. Joseph Mercola, Gary Craig,
Dr. Susan Lark, Dr. Stephen Sinatra, Dr. Julian Whitaker, Dr. Joe Cilea and
Gabriel Cousens.
In 2003, Laura launched the publishing company Violet Prose Publications
to publish her growing number of books and programs which include
The Brand New Body 7-Day Weight Loss Makeover and the mind/body
handbook,
Spiritual Fitness: The 7-Steps to Living Well, as well as editing
the online healthy report series:
The New Body Weekly. She has also hosted her own
webcast on iTunes: The Tuesday Body Talk With Laura Podcast. These
efforts have grown into the Body Talk
eZine. Here Laura showcases her philosophy of
anti-aging wellness, fitness and integrative medicine in effort to inspire others to
live in optimum health.
Laura has a B.A. in English Literature with an undergrad concentration in
biology and health sciences from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York. In 2006 she completed
her graduate degree in Natural Health with concentrations in aromatherapy
and nutritional medicine from Clayton College in Birmingham, Alabama. She
is also recognized and certified by the National Board Of Drugless
Practitioners and the American Fitness Association of America. She continues to be
dedicated to mentoring others toward total
mind/body health and anti-aging wellness.
